Program Details

• Stonecrest Health's Telemetry Monitor Technician program does not have any externship requirements.

• Completion period: This self-paced program allows 90 calendar days from your individual course start date to complete all required coursework and skills demonstrations. Students may start on any day of the week once enrollment is available and required course access is provided. An extension of up to four weeks may be granted following a documented request and completion plan approved by the instructor before the original deadline.

• Completion of each section, verified by an exam or quiz, unlocks the next section. The program includes graded quizzes and examinations, including a final examination. Students must earn a cumulative overall grade of at least 70% and satisfy all program completion requirements to receive a Stonecrest Health Certificate of Completion.

• Upon successful completion of the course the student will be issued a Certificate of Completion by Stonecrest Health.

Telemetry Monitor Technicians are also known as Cardiac Monitor Technicians, ECG Technicians. EKG and ECG are used interchangeably.

This course will train you to read and interpret different types of Electrocardiograms (ECG's) produced from 12 and five lead EKG monitors.  We will cover the biomedical mechanisms of a twelve lead ECG as well as over twenty four different cardiac rhythms and arrhythmia’s. 

The core of this course is learning about the different Cardiac Arrhythmias you will encounter.

We feature a very modern responsive web based learning platform which you can access from any Computer, Tablet, or Phone. Study materials are always available to download. There are interactive quizzes, exams and much more. Students will receive an email from their own personal instructor upon registering for the course. This course was designed for students pursuing certification as a Cardiac Monitor Technician through a national certifying organization.

 This course will prepare you to add the skill set of arrhythmia interpretation and 12-lead EKG to your knowledge base. You will be prepared to apply these skills in a hospital setting.

The $550 program price includes the required textbook and applicable course materials. Pay $550 at enrollment or two payments of $275, with the first due at enrollment and the second two weeks later. The school’s payment plan has no added fees or interest.
