Which programs can I explore?
Review our Phlebotomy Technician and EKG/ECG Telemetry Monitor Technician program pages. Enrollment is pending approval. Patient Care Technician is not currently offered, and standalone National Phlebotomy Exam Prep is no longer offered.
Do I need prior medical experience?
No prior medical experience is required. Applicants must be at least 18, have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent, and have a compatible device and internet access. Review the full requirements on your chosen program page.
How does online learning work?
Coursework follows a structured sequence of lessons, activities, and assessments. Plan regular study time and review each program’s requirements before you begin. The completion period is 90 calendar days.
How much is tuition?
Tuition is $550 for each of the Phlebotomy Technician and EKG/ECG Telemetry Monitor Technician programs. Review your program page for included materials and current payment information. National certification exam fees are separate.
What materials are included?
The Phlebotomy Technician program includes a textbook and phlebotomy skills kit. The EKG/ECG Telemetry Monitor Technician program includes a textbook and applicable course materials. See the phlebotomy curriculum or ECG course outline for program-specific information.
Does applying require payment?
There is no cost to apply. No tuition is due until enrollment is officially available. An application is not confirmation of admission or an available course start.
Is a Certificate of Completion the same as national certification?
No. A Stonecrest Health Certificate of Completion documents completion of the school’s requirements. National certification is awarded separately by a certifying organization and may require additional documented live experience, an examination, and separate fees. Check eligibility directly with the certifier before making plans.
Is an externship included or guaranteed?
No externship is guaranteed. Phlebotomy includes structured skills simulation practice, recorded demonstrations, and instructor review. Contact the school before arranging live-patient or outside-supervisor practice. The ECG program does not require an externship for school completion.
Does completing a course guarantee a job?
No. Employer requirements and hiring decisions vary. Review local job postings and any applicable state requirements, and distinguish school completion from certification or other qualifications an employer may require.
Where can I find cancellation or refund information?
Request the current catalog and enrollment agreement from Stonecrest before enrolling. Review the policies that apply to your enrollment rather than relying on older website pricing or policy summaries.
What happened to National Phlebotomy Exam Prep?
The standalone offering has been discontinued. Visit the exam-prep availability page for information and help with questions about a previous enrollment.
